Outlaw Country Revisited will showcase members of some of Colorado’s best country music bands along with founding members of The Last Waltz Revisited. This cross-genre presentation of outlaw country music includes the music of Waylon Jennings, Willie Nelson, Merle Haggard, Johnny Cash, Tanya Tucker, Loretta Lynn and many more. Our Colorado performers features members of Ryan Chrys & The Rough Cuts, Casey James Prestwood & The Burning Angels, Every Body Loves and Outlaw, Uncle Nasty Show, The Last Waltz Revisited and more.

We invite you to share this special night with our musical family and look forward to the show becoming an annual tradition.

The “Revisited” concert productions have become a family affair and staple in the Colorado music community for the past 17 years. We look forward to Outlaw Country Revisited becoming another musical tradition in our community.

Eric “Benny” Bloom

Trumpet

Member of Lettuce and originally from Bristol, RI, Eric Bloom has become one of the most diverse trumpet players in the country. He has attended William Paterson University(1999), New England Conservatory of Music(2001), and City College of New York(2004). Throughout his professional career, Eric has toured in the US, Canada, Europe, Australia, and Asia with various artists. He has also appeared on many T.V. shows, including the Craig Ferguson Show, the Carson Daly Show, Jimmy Kimmel Show, the Today Show, the David Letterman Show, and the Conan O’Brien Show. www.lettucefunk.com

Ryan Chrys

Ryan Chrys and the Rough Cuts formed in January, 2013, and have since been touring steadily through the North, Mid and South West states. During the last couple years, Ryan Chrys and the Rough Cuts have earned some prestigious local and national accolades including a nomination for “2018 Outlaw Group of the year” by the Ameripolitan Music Awards.  Prior to being the front man (Guitar/Vocals) for Ryan Chrys and the Rough Cuts, Ryan has been performing, touring and recording for various acts as a lead guitarist, doing so lead him across the country performing at venues like Milwaukee’s Summerfest, Red Rocks Amphitheater, the Fillmore Auditorium, and the Roxy Theater in Los Angeles. Along the way he shared the bill with a diverse range of notable acts including Joan Jett and the Blackhearts and George Clinton and Parliment Funkadelic.

CR Gruver

Keyboards & Vocals

CR is a veteran keyboardist and owner of School of Rock New Orleans, formerly a Denver resident but currently living in New Orleans and touring full-time with his band New Orleans Suspects.  The Last Waltz Revisited is his proudest accomplishment and his favorite show of the year.

Michel Jochum

Drums

Michael Jochum is an accomplished drummer from Los Angeles, California, he has so many credits and accolades its tough to mention them all! He has toured with bands from Jackson Browne to Korn. Check out Michael’s pages on Wikipedia and AllMusic.

Jeff Martin

Originally from New Hampshire, Jeff has over 20 years of experience playing bass guitar. As member of Casey James Prestwood & The Burning Angels, Jeff is the consummate professional holding it down “straight and narrow.”

Eric is a guitarist/singer/songwriter originally from Rockville, MD who has been living in Edgewater, CO since 2003. Interests include Gibsons, Martins, Fenders, and any smoking’ hot little amplifier.

Lauren Michaels

Lauren Michaels is an accomplished and respected vocalist who fronted her own band for years before joining the Rough Cuts. She’s won some impressive awards including Colorado’s Best Country Band, and in 2021 she won “Female Vocalist of the Year,” at the 2021 Colorado Country Music Hall of Fame awards.

Neil Mitchell

Mark Morris

5th generation Colorado Native, Mark Morris began playing guitar when he was 10 years old. He graduated from the University of Colorado in the fall of 2007 with a degree in music business and has been a professional touring musician/promoter/teacher/athlete since. His music and skiing has taken him across the world throughout US, Canada, Europe, Asia, and Central America, teaching camps, and workshops. Mark co-founded Rapidgrass festival in 2009 with Sister Sarah, Rapids & Grass festival in 2014, and Rapidgrass band in 2012. Visit his personal website HERE

Tommy P moved to Denver from Chicago in 1986 to play drums in a rock n roll band and never looked back. Tom’s greatest accomplishments are his six children but manages to play frequently as a free-lance drummer with many tremendously talented musicians around town.

Susan Phelan

Bass

Casey James Prestwood

Casey is the song writer of Casey James Prestwood & The Burning Angels. Born in Virginia, raised in the south, he grew up influenced by family musicians. He is a founding member of the rock band Hot Rod Circuit, Casey has also had tenures with Colorado’s Drag The River and many other national acts. Aside from music, Casey is a proud father and husband.

Americana singer-songwriter Brianna Straut conveys the human condition through empathetic storytelling.

Born and raised in Texas, Brianna sings from her roots, incorporating lamentations of lost love and soaring moments of hanging on to the good times into her bittersweet folk tunes. She’s been a member of Denver-based Americana outfits such as Bison Bone and Tomahawk Fox. More recently, Brianna has branched out on her own as a singer-songwriter with a voice that is as proud as the Rocky Mountains she now calls home.

With over 35 years of Rock Radio experience, Gregg Stone aka “Uncle Nasty” has been heard across the nation. Not only in radio markets like San Francisco, Houston, San Diego, Salt Lake City and Denver, but he’s also the voice of many popular television series on The Discovery Channel, A&E and The Outdoor Network. The father of 3 and married to his bride for over 20 years, he enjoys playing, coaching and watching hockey. The Colorado lifestyle also plays a big part in his life, and is the perfect backdrop for some of his favorite outdoor hobbies including hunting, camping, fishing and snowboarding. When he’s not on the ice or in the Colorado wilderness, you’ll find him rooting on the home state favorites, the Denver Broncos.
